Chicagoland Nepali Friendship Society – NFP has successfully completed its 4th General Assembly 2014 on 08/17/2014. We would like to thank everyone who participated and supported the event. Your endless support, help and contribution made it happened historical event in the presence of our NRN ICC Global President Mr. Shesh Ghale. NRN NCC President Mr. Khagendra G C, NRN NCC board of directors Dharmakar Bhattarai and Mrs. Radha poudel, ANMA President Mr. Gopendra Bhattarai , Honorary Consul General Of Nepal In Chicago Mr. Marvin Brustin and local community leaders.
It has been seven years; our organization has actively working within the Chicagoland Nepali Community to preserve our identity, our culture, and moving forward to build a strong, prosperous Nepali community in Chicagoland. We want to thank for your efforts towards this organization which is always appreciated. We would like to thank you all current and ex- executives, advisers, founder members, life members, general members, well-wishers, volunteers, guests who participated on our organizational events, sponsors, donors, artists from Nepal and local artists. CNFS executive committee 2012-2014 has completed its term successfully. We do have bigger community today than yesterday, so we need bigger plan to fulfill the community needs. We need to think how we can encourage many more community members to be involved in the organization and how to generate more ideas from the community for the organizational development. So we request you all to be a part of this organization and work together for the common goals, which will fulfill the mission and objectives of our organization.
In order to move forward CNFS has got a new executive committee through an election process. The election process was completed on 17th of August 2014, by “CNFS Election Committee 2014” which was coordinated by Mr. Khem Pathak and followed by members Mr. Dal Bahadur Shrestha and Khimanand Bhandari. In this regards we would like to thank to Election Committee for completing this responsibility peacefully, fairly and very democratic way.
